Donate to Fight COVID-19
During the time of this global pandemic, many of us feel helpless and want to assist in any way we can. This is why I resonated with the goal of this project.
My role as a UX Designer included developing low-fidelity wireframes, mock-ups, and high-fidelity prototypes for website pages and features.
I also designed marketing assets for social media, including Instagram posts and stories.
On April 3rd, 2020, I had watched a YouTube video uploaded by Katie Tracy where she designed and developed a website in 24 hours with the goal of helping to fight COVID-19. I then reached out to her wanting to help continue this project.
Working with 8 other talented students (product designers, front-end/back-end developers, project managers) with a 13 hour time difference, through weekly zoom calls and slack messaging, we worked together to create donatecovid.org, a website to help fight COVID-19 through raising awareness of donation funds around the world.
